Subscriptions

A channel subscription is a recurring monthly payment that supports a creator and unlocks subscriber perks on their channel — a subscriber badge, subscriber-only chat and emotes, and subscriber clips.

Subscribing

  1. On a channel (or its live page), select Subscribe.
  2. Choose a tier (Tier 1, 2, or 3 — higher tiers cost more and show a higher badge).
  3. Pick a payment method — a saved card for one-click, or a new method.
  4. Confirm. Your perks appear once the payment is confirmed.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.

Tiers & changing tier

You can move between tiers at any time from the channel’s Subscribed button or your account subscriptions page:

  • Upgrade (to a higher tier) takes effect immediately and is prorated — you only pay the difference for the rest of the current period.
  • Downgrade (to a lower tier) is scheduled for the end of your current period — you keep your current tier’s perks until then, and the lower price starts at renewal.
  • A scheduled downgrade can be cancelled before it takes effect.

Payment methods

Subscriptions support cards and, depending on your region and device, wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus Link. Saving a card lets you subscribe to other channels in one click and keeps renewals working — see Payment methods.

Managing your subscriptions

Go to Account → Subscriptions to:

  • See every channel you subscribe to, your tier, and the next renewal date.
  • Change tier, cancel (keeps access until period end), or resume a pending cancellation.
  • See and cancel a scheduled downgrade.

Cancelling

Cancelling sets the subscription to end at the end of the current period — you keep your perks until then, and it won’t renew. You can resume before the period ends to undo the cancellation.
