Streaming
My stream won’t connect / gets rejected. Check your ingest URL and stream key, use H.264 + AAC, and use 2-second keyframes. The Go Live page shows the reason for your last refusal. See Stream troubleshooting.
My encoder connects then drops in a loop. Almost always the video codec — AV1 and HEVC are refused, and OBS won’t tell you why. See Supported codecs.
What resolution do viewers get? Live: exactly what you broadcast — there’s a single live rendition. On-demand videos are processed into an adaptive ladder and viewers can pick a quality.
My connection dropped. Did I lose the stream? Not necessarily — you have 5 minutes to reconnect and continue the same stream. See Reconnecting after a drop.
My past streams aren’t being saved. Check Auto-save VODs in Account → Channel. If the toggle is greyed out, automatic saving is switched off platform-wide and the page will say so. Also note streams under 30 seconds are never saved. See Saving past streams.
How do I know if last night was actually unstable? Studio → Inspector keeps every session’s bitrate and jitter for two weeks.
Can I stream from a VPN or a server? Possibly not — publishing can be blocked from high-risk networks. Stream from your home connection, or ask staff for an exemption. See Blocked networks.
Uploads & videos
Why can’t I upload videos? Uploading is granted per user. Request access from the Upload page — you’ll be asked where you already have an audience. See Videos & uploads.
My video is stuck in “Pending approval”. Uploads may be reviewed before going public. Saved past streams are never held for review.
Earning
When can I start earning? Donations: as soon as Stripe payout onboarding is complete. Subscriptions: once your channel reaches Affiliate in the Creator Program.
My viewers can’t donate or subscribe to me. Usually one of: Stripe onboarding isn’t finished (charges not enabled), your channel isn’t Affiliate yet, your country isn’t a supported payout country, monetization is suspended by copyright strikes, or there’s an outstanding attestation to accept. Check Studio → Monetization.
Bizum (or another local method) doesn’t show for my viewers. Some methods need you to activate them in your own Stripe dashboard. See Payment methods on your channel.
How do payouts work? Funds settle to your connected Stripe account and pay out automatically after a delay you set (with a minimum from your commission tier). Balances and history live in your Stripe Express dashboard, from Studio → Monetization.
How is my revenue split? A platform fee plus payment-processing fees are deducted. Your rate depends on your commission tier. See Monetization.
What’s the difference between Affiliate/Partner and Starter/Partner/Pro? The first is the Creator Program, which decides whether you can sell subscriptions. The second is your commission tier, which decides what you pay. See Two ladders, easily confused.
I got a chargeback. Add evidence in Studio → Disputes before the deadline. See Chargebacks & disputes.
Setup
Where’s my alert overlay URL? On Studio → Monetization, not Studio → Alerts. Alerts is where you style them. See Alerts & OBS overlays.
Can I limit who clips my channel? Yes — everyone, followers, subscribers, or nobody. See Clips on your channel.
Why can’t I see Polls / Predictions / Giveaways in chat? They’re switched on platform-wide, and predictions and giveaways also need channel points enabled. See Polls, predictions & giveaways.
Can I add someone as a manager for my server’s page? No — server managers are appointed by staff. See Managing a server listing.
Moderation
Where do I moderate while live? Mod View — a dedicated dashboard with chat, the mod log, held messages, and Shield Mode.
A raid is happening right now. What do I do? Turn on Shield Mode from Mod View, set an auto-off, and check the banned list afterwards for people caught by accident. See Shield Mode.
