Clips on your channel

Viewers can capture short clips of your live stream — the cheapest promotion you’ll ever get.

Who can clip you

Set this in your channel settings:

Setting	Who can create clips
Everyone	Any signed-in viewer. This is the default.
Followers only	Only people who follow you.
Subscribers only	Only your subscribers.
Disabled	Nobody. You can still clip your own channel.

You can always clip your own stream, whatever this is set to.

Limits

• A clip can be up to 60 seconds.
• A viewer must wait 30 seconds between clips on the same stream.
• Clips are captured from the live stream only — they can’t be cut from a past stream or an uploaded video afterwards.

Caution

Because clipping is live-only, a moment that isn’t clipped while you’re on air can’t be clipped later. If something great happens, say “clip that” — it’s the only chance.

Finding clips

• Studio → Clips lists every clip made from your channel.
• Your channel’s public Clips tab shows them to viewers.
• Studio → Analytics → Stream shows the clips created during each individual stream, which is a good signal for which moments landed.

Moderating clips

A clip is your content, made by someone else. If one misrepresents you or captures something you’d rather wasn’t public, remove it from Studio → Clips. If a clip of you on another channel is a problem, contact support.
