Manage your account from the Account area.

Profile

  • Display name, bio, avatar, and cover — how you appear on your profile and in chat.
  • Chat colour — the colour of your name in chat.
  • Country — pre-filled when you register, and changeable here. It matters for creators: it decides whether you can be paid. See Payments by country.
  • Date of birth — shown day-first (DD-MM-YYYY).

Your date of birth is set once

Once a date of birth is stored on your account, the field is locked and you can’t edit it yourself. If it’s wrong, contact support to have it corrected.

Changing your username

Changing your username needs your current password, and there are limits so that names stay recognisable:

  • You can change it once every 60 days.
  • Your old username is reserved for 180 days afterwards — nobody else can take it, and you can reclaim it during that window.
  • Your display name follows the new username’s capitalisation.
  • You get a confirmation email whenever it changes.

If you’re within the cooldown, the field tells you the date you can next change it.

Language & translation

Metin2Stream is available in several languages. Use the language switcher in the top bar — your choice is remembered on your device, saved to your account, and account emails follow it where available.

Under Account → Profile you can also set:

  • Translate chat and Translate titles — whether other people’s messages and stream titles are machine-translated for you.
  • Never translate these languages — languages you already read, which always stay in the original.

Security

Under Account → Security you can:

  • Change your password (or set a password if your account was created with Discord or Google).
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
  • Review and sign out of active sessions.

Linked accounts

Connect Discord and Google so you can sign in with them. From Account → Linked Accounts you can connect or disconnect a provider. For your security, linking and unlinking asks you to re-enter your password (and 2FA code if enabled). If your account is passwordless, set a password first.

Linking never creates a new account from a provider — it only adds a faster way into the account you already have.

Payments by country

Your country decides whether you can receive money on the platform. Payouts are supported for creators in the EEA, the UK, the US, Canada and Switzerland.

This doesn’t restrict paying — you can support a creator from anywhere your card works. It does mean a creator based outside those regions can’t currently accept donations or subscriptions, and you’ll see an error if you try.

Because country affects payouts, changing it is recorded for compliance.
