Mature content & age

Creators mark a stream or video as mature when it isn’t suitable for everyone. Mature content sits behind an age check.

Your date of birth

You give a date of birth when you create your account. It’s required, and the minimum age to register is 16.

Your date of birth is used for two things: making sure you’re old enough to be here, and deciding whether you can open mature content. You can see and correct it in Account → Profile; dates are shown day-first (DD-MM-YYYY).

What you’ll see on mature content

Your situation	What happens
Signed in, 18 or over	It plays normally. No gate.
Signed in, under 18	You can’t open it. The platform blocks it outright — this isn’t something you can click past.
Signed in, no date of birth on file	You’re asked to confirm you’re 18 or over before it plays.
Not signed in	You’re asked to confirm you’re 18 or over before it plays.

Confirming applies to that one stream or video, for that browsing session only. It isn’t a setting, and it isn’t remembered on your next visit or on other content.
