Clips

Viewers can capture clips of your streams and videos. You can control clipping for your channel — for example, restricting it to subscribers — from your channel settings. Clips appear on your channel’s Clips tab.

Moderation

Keep your chat healthy with moderators and chat modes.

Moderators

Assign trusted users as moderators. They can time out or ban users from your chat and remove messages.

Chat modes

• Subscriber-only — only subscribers (and staff) can chat.
• Slow mode — enforces a delay between messages.
• Followers-only / shield mode — tighten access during raids or spam waves.

Bans & timeouts

Moderators can time out (temporary) or ban (persistent) a user from your channel’s chat. Bans are per-channel.

Note

Platform staff also enforce site-wide rules. Channel moderation is for your community; serious violations may be handled platform-wide.
