Monetization & Creator Program

You can earn from donations (one-off tips) and channel subscriptions (recurring monthly support). Donations are available as soon as payouts are set up; subscriptions require Creator Program eligibility.

Two ladders, easily confused

Metin2Stream has two separate progressions. They have nothing to do with each other:

Donations

Once payout onboarding is complete, viewers can donate to you. A platform fee and payment-processing fee apply; viewers can optionally cover the processing fee.

Configure the details in Studio → Monetization Settings:

• Amounts — minimum, maximum, a suggested amount, and the preset buttons viewers see.
• Cooldown between donations from the same person, and the maximum message length.
• Donation panel text — what viewers read on your tip page.
• Notifications — instant, digested, or off.
• Accept offline donations — let people tip when you’re not live.
• Announce donations in chat.
• Chargeback protection — leave this on unless you have a specific reason not to. Turning it off asks you to acknowledge the risk.
• Allow VPN donations.

Vacation mode

Going away? Vacation mode in Monetization Settings pauses your money-in paths, optionally with an end date, and shows when you’re due back.

The Creator Program (Affiliate & Partner)

Selling subscriptions is gated by a Twitch-style ladder. Your progress is shown in Account → Creator Program, measured over a rolling 30-day window.

Affiliate — self-service

Meet all four and you can grant yourself Affiliate with one button:

• 25 followers
• 4 hours streamed
• Streamed on 4 different days
• Averaged 3 or more viewers on 4 days

Partner — by application

You must already be Affiliate, plus 6 streams averaging 75 viewers in the same 30-day window. Then you apply and staff review it.

• While it’s pending, the page says so.
• If it’s rejected, you’ll see the reviewer’s notes and the date you can re-apply — 30 days later.
• Partners get a Partner badge shown next to their name across the platform.

Caution

There’s a Leave Program button. If you use it, you can’t re-grant yourself Affiliate later — you’ll have to contact support to rejoin. Don’t press it to “reset” anything.

Before you can start earning at all

Separately from the Creator Program, there’s an eligibility gate on beginning payout setup. Out of the box it requires:

• A confirmed email address
• Two-factor authentication enabled
• Being 18 or over

The platform can additionally require minimum stream hours, account age, followers, average viewers, a period without violations, or a maximum number of copyright strikes. Whatever applies is shown as a checklist on the Monetization page before Start Setup is available.

Subscriptions & tiers

Channel subscriptions have three tiers at platform-set prices. Viewers can upgrade (immediate, prorated) or downgrade (at period end). See Subscriptions for the viewer side.

Commission tiers

Studio → Monetization → Manage Tier shows the commission ladder. Each tier lists:

• Its monthly fee
• Its commission rate, and an overflow rate past a monthly donation volume or count
• The minimum payout delay it allows
• How many alert tiers and custom assets you get

Each tier also has its own eligibility (account age, streams, hours, time without violations), shown with ticks against your channel.

Note

Self-service tier changes have to be switched on by the platform. If the upgrade buttons are locked, that’s why — you can still cancel a paid tier.

Payouts

Payout schedule in Monetization Settings sets your payout delay in days. You can raise it but not lower it past your commission tier’s minimum.

Keeping your account in good standing

Two things switch monetization off automatically:

• Copyright strikes — three active strikes suspends it. See Copyright strikes.
• An outstanding attestation — occasionally the platform updates the content declaration sellers must accept. You’ll be notified and given a grace period of about two weeks; miss it and donations and subscriptions stop until you re-accept.
