Creator FAQ
When can I start earning? Donations: as soon as Stripe payout onboarding is complete. Subscriptions: once your channel reaches Affiliate (or Partner) in the Creator Program.
My viewers can’t donate or subscribe to me. Your Stripe account probably isn’t fully onboarded (charges not enabled), or — for subscriptions — your channel isn’t Affiliate/Partner yet. Check Studio → monetization and your Stripe status.
Bizum (or another local method) doesn’t show for my viewers. Some methods need you to activate them in your own Stripe dashboard (“Activation by connected account required”). See Payment methods on your channel.
How do payouts work? Funds settle to your connected Stripe account and pay out to your bank on Stripe’s standard schedule. Balances and history live in your Stripe Express dashboard — open it from Studio → Monetization via Open Stripe Dashboard.
My stream won’t connect / gets rejected. Check your ingest URL and stream key, use 2-second keyframes, and lower your bitrate if it exceeds the platform’s ingest limit. See Going live.
What resolution do viewers get? Up to 1080p, via an adaptive ladder — viewers automatically get the best quality their connection supports.
Can I limit who clips my channel? Yes — you can restrict clipping (e.g. to subscribers) in your channel settings. See Clips & moderation.
How is my revenue split? A platform fee plus payment-processing fees are deducted; the remainder is transferred to you. Partners may have a negotiated fee. The split is shown in the Studio.
