Polls, predictions & giveaways

Three interactive features can appear as a banner above chat while you’re watching.

Availability

All three have to be switched on platform-wide, and predictions and giveaways additionally need channel points enabled on the channel. If you’ve never seen one of these banners, the feature isn’t live on this deployment yet.

Polls

A creator or moderator starts a poll and it appears above chat with the question and its options.

• Select an option to vote. One vote per person, and you can’t change your mind afterwards.
• Results stay hidden until you’ve voted (or the poll ends), so early votes don’t sway later ones.
• Polls run for as long as the creator set — anywhere from 15 seconds to 10 minutes — and there’s only ever one poll running at a time.
• Not signed in? You’ll see the results but can’t vote.

Bonus votes

A creator can let you spend channel points on extra votes. Bonus votes always reinforce the option you already picked — you can’t buy votes for the other side. The cost per vote and the maximum you can buy are set per poll.

If a poll is deleted rather than ended, any points spent on bonus votes are refunded.

Predictions

A prediction is a bet, settled in channel points.

1. The creator opens a prediction with two or more outcomes and a betting window.
2. Stake your points on one outcome. You can add more points to the same outcome, but you can’t switch sides or back two outcomes.
3. Betting closes when the window ends or the creator locks it.
4. The broadcaster picks the winning outcome, and the pool is paid out.

How the payout works. Everyone who backed the winning outcome splits the entire pool in proportion to what they staked. Your return includes your original stake back. The banner shows a live “return ratio” per outcome — back the unpopular side and you win more if you’re right.

• If nobody backed the winning outcome, everyone is refunded in full.
• If the creator cancels a prediction, every stake is refunded.
• If a locked prediction is left unsettled for too long, it’s cancelled automatically and refunded.

Note

The broadcaster and their moderators can’t bet on their own channel’s predictions, and only the broadcaster — not a moderator — can decide the winning outcome.

Giveaways

A giveaway is a raffle you enter with channel points.

• Buy tickets with points. More tickets means better odds, up to the per-viewer limit the creator set.
• The creator may restrict entry to followers or subscribers.
• The draw happens either at a time the creator set, or whenever they choose to draw.
• Winners are drawn at random, weighted by tickets — but nobody can win two slots in the same draw.
• If the creator cancels the giveaway, every ticket is refunded.

The creator can also re-roll a winner slot, which replaces that winner with a new draw from everyone who hasn’t already won.

Prizes come from the creator, not the platform

When a creator runs a giveaway they confirm that they own the prize and will deliver it to the winner. Metin2Stream doesn’t supply, hold, or deliver giveaway prizes, and can’t arbitrate a prize that never arrives. If a creator doesn’t deliver, report it — but treat entering as trusting that creator.
