Cookie choices

The first time you visit, a banner asks what you’re happy with. There are three groups:

Necessary	Signing in, security, payment processing, fraud checks	No — the site can’t work without it

Marketing	Where visitors arrived from	Yes

Use Preferences on the banner to choose per category, or Accept all / Reject.

Changing your mind later: the cookie preferences link in the site footer reopens the same panel at any time.

Your choice is remembered per browser, and if you’re signed in it follows your account to other devices. If the cookie policy is updated, you’ll be asked again.

Note

Analytics only load after you allow them. Things that are strictly necessary — staying signed in, the payment form, the anti-fraud check — are never gated behind the banner.

What we keep, and for how long

Some things are kept only as long as they’re useful, then deleted or anonymised automatically:

Sign-in history (with IP and device)	180 days
Expired sessions	12 months
Password reset, magic-link and email-change tokens	30 days after they’re used or expire
Messages a moderator deleted from chat	About 6 months
The IP address on a copyright notice	Anonymised after 90 days
Your cookie-consent record	IP and device anonymised after 2 years; the record itself deleted after 5 years of inactivity

Normal chat, watch history, and your account content aren’t on this list — they stay until you or the creator remove them.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and data to be deleted.

There’s no self-service button for this yet. Email [email protected], or open a support ticket, and staff will handle it.

Things you control yourself

• Watch history — remove single items or clear it entirely from Account → Watch History. See Watch history.
• Notifications — choose what you’re notified about in Account → Notifications. See Notifications.
• Anonymous donations — hide your name from a creator’s public list when you donate.
• Sessions — sign out of devices from Account → Security.
